Joan A. Boudreau, 86 of Westborough died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 10 surrounded by her family. Joan was the devoted wife to Robert C. Boudreau for more than 66 years. She was the loving mother to four daughters, Patricia A. Boudreau of Westborough, Karen B. Griffin and her husband Ronald N. Griffin, Jr of Uxbridge, Roseanne Compton and her husband Michael Compton of Uxbridge and Joanne B. Rino and her husband Anthony Rino of Northborough. Joan was the proud grandmother and great grandmother to Jennifer Griffin and her husband Joseph Johnson, Amanda Griffin and her husband Kevin Randall and their son Colin Griffin Randall, Samantha Robson and her son Christian Robert DePonte, Sean Robson, Danielle Fisher and her husband Adam Fisher, Alexandra Compton, Sydney Compton, Julia Compton, Isabella Rino and Nicholas Rino.

She will be missed by her family immensely. Joan was a resident of Natick for over 57 years. She was a parishioner at St. Linus Church in Natick for all those years where she taught CCD, sang in the choir and volunteered for many ministries. Joan’s deep-rooted Catholic faith was central to her life and she continued that faith at St. Bernadette Parish in Northborough. Joan worked for many years at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick as a financial counselor and was proud of her longtime commitment to her work there. Joan was a frequent volunteer alongside her husband at the Natick Food Pantry. Joan was a longstanding supporter of her favorite charities and always took time to care about others. One of the many things that made Joan happy was spending time by the ocean with her family in Maine.

Calling hours for Joan will be held on Thursday, March 15th, from 5-8P.M. at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10A.M. on Friday, March 16th, at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough. She will then be laid to rest in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
