Xiu Yun Kuang passed away at UMass Memorial Hospital on March 21, 2020 due to a sudden heart failure. She was a Northborough Mass resident for 18 years and loved the community.
Xiu Yun lived a healthy, independent and active life. She loved giant and ancient trees. She had visited Bristlecone Pine Forrest in California, some of the trees are 3,000 to 4,000 years old -- the world’s longest living non-clonal organism. She also visited the beautiful Banyan Tree on Maui.
