Northborough - Charles E. Wright, 88 passed away Dec. 28, 2015 at Marlboro Hills Health Care. He leaves his wife Mickie Wright; daughter, Candis Lincoln; son Brian Wright; stepson, Mark Mielnicki; 2 grandsons a step-granddaughter and a great-grandson. Charlie was born and raised in Worcester. A graduate of Commerce High School in 1945, and Worcester Jr. College in 1950, he furthered his studies and graduated from Northeastern Univ. in 1954. Charlie served aboard the USS Mission Bay in the U.S Navy during WW II. Mr. Wright worked as a Home Office Life Underwriter for State Mutual Life Ins. Co. for 40 plus years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Siloam Masonic Lodge in Westborough and First Parish Unitarian Church of Northborough. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in Howard St. Northborough. There are no calling hours.
