Diane E. (Hogan) Coull, 64, passed away in the Milford Regional Health Center on May 30, 2018, after being stricken ill at home. Diane was born in Weymouth, a daughter to the late Frank J. and Rita C. (Silva) Hogan. She spent her youth in the South Shore area prior to moving to the Ocala, FL area where she earned her degree in medical billing and accounting from Webster College. In 2016, after losing her son, Mathew A. Coull in a tragic motorcycle accident, Diane moved to Massachusetts to be near her son and daughter.

Diane found enjoyment and a sense of purpose in crocheting and knitting for others. Countless newborn baby caps were lovingly crafted and donated to local hospitals; as were blankets and mittens for homeless and veteran shelters. In her younger years Diane was a trained competitive dancer and looked towards a professional career on Broadway. She always enjoyed a spirited game of bingo, a hand of poker, or trying her luck at Keno. In recent years she found enjoyment in friendship and conversation over a good cup of coffee with her Colonial Drive neighbors, gardening and watching her shows. She loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Among those she leaves behind are her daughter Kelly A. Pomeroy and husband Padraic of Whitinsville, 1 son, Francis Coull and his fiancé Deb Colantonio of Weymouth, 10 grandchildren and two sisters, Joan Gallagher and Cathy Salvaggi. Her husband, Joseph L. Coull, Sr. passed away in 1995.

Private services for family and close friends will be held at Kelly and Padraic's home in June. Please contact her directly for more information.
