Northborough - Dorothy W. Nazar, 84, died at home on August 26, 2013. She was the wife of the late Michael Nazar. Dorothy leaves two sons, Robert MacDonald and his wife Caroline of Northborough and Glenn MacDonald and his wife Cynthia of Tolland, CT; grandchildren, Maggie Grace Weiss of East Calais, VT, Christopher MacDonald of Billerica, Sean MacDonald and Jessica MacDonald both of Tolland; great-grandchildren, Amariah, Shiloh, Jaxson and Tallin. Mrs. Nazar was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, NY, daughter of the late John P. and Gertrude (Eagles) Werner. She lived most of her life in New York before moving to Northborough, to be close to her family. Dorothy was employed as the payroll administrator for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District in NY for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She wintered many years in St. Augustine, FL, which she considered her second home. Mrs. Nazar loved the beach, to watch PGA golf and was an avid New England Patriots fan.
