Berlin Eleanor L. (Trevitt) Zwicker, 92, a longtime resident of Berlin, passed away on March 19, 2018; she was the widow of Raymond O. Zwicker. Eleanor was born in Cambridge, MA on July 31, 1925, a daughter to the late Harry B. and Grace L. (Cross) Trevitt. She was raised in Bolton and graduated from Hudson H.S., Class of 1941. After graduation she spent several years as a secretary for Anaconda Brass Co in Boston. Eleanor was a longtime active member of First Parish Church of Berlin where she served on many of the volunteering committees there. She especially enjoyed making crafts and toys for the church bazaars. She was an avid gardener and was proud of her beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed animals, especially her many cats. Eleanor was a loving wife and devoted mother. She will be missed by her three sons, Richard B. Zwicker and wife Solange of Springfield, VT, David R. Zwicker and wife Suzanne of Berlin, and Thomas A. Zwicker of Tidewater, OR. She also leaves behind her two granddaughters, Christine and Nicole Zwicker of Berlin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Holman. Calling hours for Eleanor will be Sunday, March 25th, from 12-2pm at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 26th, at 10am at First Parish Church of Berlin, 24 Central St, Berlin, MA 01503. She will then be laid to rest in North Cemetery, Berlin.
