Eleanor P. (Dewire) Devereaux, 91, died February 11, 2014 at Marlborough Hills Health Care. Her husband George Devereaux died in 1983. She leaves a son Robert Devereaux and his wife Tina of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Nancy Manning of Dolgeville, NY and Patricia King and her husband Marsh of Limmington, ME; grandchildren, Tracy, Cort Jr., Danielle, Angela, Michelle, Josh, Becky, Jamie, Jennifer, Jana and Jessy; 10 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Nancy, Michael and William. Eleanor was born in Somerville, daughter of Francis and Anna (Reid) Dewire and was raised in Cambridge. She moved to Northborough in 1960 and lived here until the time of her passing. Eleanor enjoyed trips with the Northboro Senior Center, word puzzles, eating lobster. She lived for her family. Mrs. Devereaux was a member of Metro Church of Marlborough. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. The funeral will take place on Saturday the 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home followed by burial in Howard St. Cemetery.
