FREEPORT, ME - Estelle L. Gallant, age 93, and formerly of Brunswick, Maine passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Hawthorne House. Estelle was born in Worcester, MA on October 29, 1924, a daughter of Alfred and Ida (Butler) Gallant and was educated in the Auburn, MA school system.

Estelle worked as an assistant in the Activities Department at Thornton Nursing Home in Northborough, MA. She had lived Florida prior to residing in Maine for 10 years. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crosswords, reading and scratch tickets.

Estelle leaves behind her brother, Dennis Gallant and his wife, Gay of Bowdoin, Maine; and two sisters, Rita Thornton and Janice Lucas, both of Brunswick.
