Framingham/Marlborough Frederick Theodore Diloreto, 94, a WWII Veteran and longtime educator passed away on April 18, 2017 at the Brockton Campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System. Among his survivors he leaves two daughters, Susan Diloreto of Murrell's Inlet, SC and Kathy Diloreto of W. Boylston, MA as well as four grandchildren, Cooper, Macie, Jessica and Dylan. Fred was born in Meriden, CT on January 10, 1923, the son of the late Joseph and Michelina Diloreto. He graduated from the Meriden High School prior to proudly serving in the Navy during WWII. Upon returning from the war received his BA is Business from Boston College and his Master's in Business Administration from Harvard. Soon after he married his love, Dorothy L. (Johnston) Diloreto. They spent many years together in Brooklyn, NY prior to moving to Marlborough in 1959. During this time he taught business courses in the Newton Public Schools. After Dorothy's death in 1984 Fred moved to Framingham where he resided until his recent decline in health. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters and taking road trips, exploring wherever the road may take him. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in the St. Bridget Parish, 830 Worcester Road, Route 9, Framingham, MA. At 11AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017, his body will be laid to rest with Military Honors in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden, CT. Service Information
