Berlin - Linda N. (Coldwell) Wilding, 70, of Harlingen, Texas, died July 4, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, after a long battle with cancer. She leaves her devoted husband of 40 years, Thomas S. Wilding; two stepdaughters, Theresa Wilding of Houston, TX and Lisa Wilding of Lakeland, FL; siblings, Judith Young of Westborough; Diane Coldwell of Fitchburg; Douglas Coldwell and his wife Patricia of Berlin; Barry Coldwell and his wife Louise also of Berlin; three grandsons and two granddaughters, Taylor Yong, Cody Yong, Dillan Wilding, Ainsley Wilding, & Paige Wilding; cousins. Born in Clinton, and raised in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Miriam (Dupree) Coldwell. Linda graduated from Hudson High School, class of 1957. Mrs. Wilding lived in Farmington, CT for many years before moving to Harlingen in 2001. Her career as a legal secretary spanned for 50 years until health issues forced her to retire in 2012. Linda was known as a kind and loving person who was dedicated to her family and friends. She was a woman of great faith and was an active member of her church in Texas. Linda's other passions included traveling, entertaining and cooking. She loved her two dachshunds. A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery, Berlin. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Berlin Family Food Pantry, 23 Linden St., Cluster Box 5, Berlin, MA 01503.
