Lexington - Marguerite "Margo" D. (Gingras) Anderson, 98, passed away on February 1, 2015 in Beaumont of Northborough, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Godfrey and Anna Gingras. She was the devoted wife of the late Leonard "Andy" F. Anderson who died in 1989. She leaves a daughter, Elaine Shibley and her husband Paul of Clinton; two sons, Mark Anderson and his wife Sandra of Lawrence; Len Anderson and his wife JoAnn of Florida; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by two grandchildren, Eric and Nathan Anderson. Margo lived 43 years in Lexington before moving to Northborough in 2008. She was a former daily communicant of her home parish, St. Brigid's Church in Lexington where she started a Rosary group. Mrs. Anderson was an avid gardener and an awesome Bridge & Poker player. She loved to crochet/knit sweaters and afghans for her family. Margo loved to travel with her husband Andy. Her funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 2001 Mass Ave. Lexington. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Brigid's Church, Office of Religious Education. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough is directing arrangements.
