Rita B. Lepera of Northborough, MA passed away on February 15, 2014 in her home at the age of 80. She is the widow of the late Frank A. Lepera. She was born in Andover, MA and grew up in Cambridge, MA. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Antonia (Boucher) Levassiur. She worked for UCP in Watertown, MA. Upon retiring they moved from Watertown, MA to James Island, SC. They returned and took up residence in Northborough, MA in 2004. She loved to play bingo at the Northborough Senior Center, painting, playing the piano, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She is survived by her three children, Frances Porter and her husband Richard of Marlborough, MA, Susan Lepera and her partner Eileen Sawyers of Southbridge MA, and Michael Lepera and his wife Louise Harrison-Lepera of Watertown. She also adored her three grandchildren, Kyra Porter of Marlborough, Duncan and Tamsin Lepera of Watertown. She was the sister of the late Richard, Henry, Madeline, and Louis Levassiur. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northborough Senior Center where seen playing bingo at 119 Bearfoot Rd Northborough, MA 01532. Calling hours will be held Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Hays Funeral Home located at 56 Main Street in Northborough, MA from 6pm-8pm. The funeral service will be private.
