Bolton – Robert J. Harding, 82, passed away August 13, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after battling a recent illness. He leaves his four children, Donna Hall and her husband Robert of Berlin; Robert C. Harding of Lancaster; William Harding of Bolton; Carrie Harding and James Wing of Northborough; his grandson, Colin Wing; his brother, John Harding and his wife Marie of Weymouth; nieces and nephews. Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Flynn) Harding. He's been a Bolton resident since 1971. Bob graduated from Bentley College with a degree in accounting. Part of his career was a controller, spanning 17 years with Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard and Salem, NH until retirement in 1988. Mr. Harding enjoyed activities surrounding his deep interest of war history. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he served aboard the USS Pine Island.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at West Cemetery, (Green Rd.) Bolton. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough is assisting the Harding family.
