Ronald A. DeLibertis, a 50-year resident of Northborough, passed away March 21, 2015 at Marlborough Hills Health Care after a long illness, with family by his side. He was 84. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Sylvene (Kitchings) DeLibertis; his loving children, Richard DeLibertis of Northborough and Dianne White and her husband William of Port Orange, FL; his granddaughter, his pride and joy, Morgan Magnussen of Northborough; his brother, Ernest DeLibertis of Worcester; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Manfred DeLibertis. Born in Fitchburg and raised in Worcester, he was the son of Manfred and Rena (Marion) DeLibertis. Ron worked as a foreman at Wyman-Gordon in Grafton for 20 years until his retirement in 1993. Prior to that, Mr. DeLibertis was employed as a design draftsman for Curtis and Marble Co. in Worcester. He was a proud Air Force veteran who served his country during the Korean War. A highly mechanically inclined individual, Ron was known for tinkering with most anything that needed to be fixed. Ron was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of American Legion Post #234 of Northborough. A private funeral with military honors will be held in Hays Funeral Home. Mr. DeLibertis will be interred in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
