Obituary

Framingham - Walter P. Ricci, 85, passed away July 15, 2014 at Mass. General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his first wife Rose Marie (Lynch) Ricci and his second wife, Jill (Pellegrino) Ricci. Walter leaves behind his son Dan Ricci and his wife Barbara of Webster; his daughter, Diane Ricci Campbell and her husband Doug of Northborough; three grandchildren, Tylar-Rose Ricci, Daniel Ricci and Amanda Leigh Campbell; siblings, Albert Ricci, Edward Ricci, Lawrence Ricci and Frances Mills; many nieces and nephews; predeceased siblings, John Ricci, Rita Connelly, Verena Klempa and William Ricci. Born in Lexington and raised in Watertown, he was the son of the late John and Elsie (English) Ricci. Mr. Ricci was a member of Teamsters Local #504 at the former Quincy Cold Storage for 33 years, retiring in 1991. Walter served his country during the Korean War. Calling hours will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. (Rte. 20) Northborough. Walter's funeral will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Howard St. Cemetery, Northborough.
