Obituary

Northborough - Wayne D. Barrow, 44, of Northborough was stricken ill and passed away at home on July 22, 2013. He leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Kimberly (Chatfield) Barrow; his parents, Randolph and Claire Barrow of Trinidad and Tobago; his sister, Jhen Nell Barrow of Natick and brother, Kerrance Barrow of Cocoa, FL; three nieces, Kerrisa Barrow, Kerry Ann Barrow and Maria Barrow; a step nephew Renaldo and a step niece Marixa; his mother-in-law, Judith Chatfield of Southington, CT. Wayne was born in Trinidad and Tobago and lived there before immigrating to America at the age of 13. After reaching the age of 21, Wayne became a U.S. citizen. Mr. Barrow graduated from West Haven High School in CT and Springfield College. He was currently attending Clark University. Wayne was formerly employed at Mass Bay Community College in Wellesley Hills for eight years in the IT Dept. For the past two years, he was working for MCPHS University in Worcester as Academic Learning System Administrator. Wayne was a longtime season ticket holder of New England Revolution Soccer. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing, photography, and computer games. Years ago, Mr. Barrow was a swimming instructor for the YMCA and was currently a member of the Boroughs YMCA. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Wayne's funeral will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boroughs YMCA, Y's 2013 Annual Campaign, 4 Valente Drive Westborough, MA 01581.
