Obituary

Northborough - Alexander Gary Gadaire, 26, passed away at home on November 3, 2015 due to a seizure disorder. He now watches over his parents, Dave and Cindy Gadaire of Northborough; his sisters, Kalie Farina and her husband Devon of Seattle, WA; Elizabeth Gadaire of Northborough; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Carol Gadaire of Pendleton, OR; his maternal grandfather, Frank Eldridge of W. Yarmouth, MA; an adored nephew, Henley Farina; aunts, uncles, cousins and a close-knit group of friends that Alex considered family. He joins his grandmother, Marjorie Eldridge, his uncle Gary Gadaire and his godfather, Steve Gadaire.

Alex was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in Northborough. He graduated from Algonquin Regional High School, in 2007, and worked as an intern at Blue Mountain Wildlife in Pendleton. He was currently studying human service counseling at Quinsigamond Community College. Alex had a passion for birds of prey, sports, music and jamming with his friends. He had a true love and gift for connecting with children and those in need. His charisma and sense of humor brought joy, laughter and compassion to all he met. Alex loved spending time with his family and especially cherished time with his beloved grandparents.

Calling hours will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Alex's funeral will take place on Tuesday, November 10th at 10 a.m. in Wellspring United Methodist Church, 440 Main St. Shrewsbury. Burial will take place at a later date in Westin, Oregon. Rather than flowers, Alex would wish for memorial donations to Blue Mountain Wildlife, 71046 Appaloosa La, Pendleton, OR 97801 (attn: Lynne Tompkins).
