NORTHBROUGH Barbara M. Dawson, a longtime resident of Northborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2022; she was 84 years old. Barbara was born in Milford, MA and raised in Sudbury, MA, a daughter to Robert E. and Mary A. (Conlin) Dawson. She was a graduate of Sudbury H.S. and studied at the Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing of Massachusetts General Hospital where she earned her LPN certificate. Barbara would go on to work as an LPN throughout her career, most notably at Cushing Hospital, Leonard Morse Hospital and in private compassionate care settings. Surviving Barbara is her sister, Margaret D. Peddle and her husband David of Northborough and of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Barbara loved nature and was a strong environmentalist. She enjoyed bird watching and traveling. For numerous years, Barbara enjoyed her winter visits with Margaret and David at their Florida home. Funeral services for Barbara will be private.
