Berlin Beverly A. (Artz) Mello, 90, a longtime resident of Berlin, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was the widow of Charles C. Mello. Beverly was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 1, 1927, the daughter of Oscar C. and Gladys I. (Prescott) Artz. She enjoyed taking long walks, attending to her garden, and enjoyed animals. As a young woman Beverly was schooled in formal theatre. Among her survivors she leaves her nephew Blake Artz and his wife Lynne of Whitman, a niece Belinda Daniels of Florida. She also leaves great-nieces Lois, Rachel and Brooke Artz and a great nephew Christopher Daniels, a cousin Douglas Murray and his wife Mary of Dennis, MA, and a close friend, Helen Roach of Berlin. A funeral service will be held at 10 O'Clock in the Morning on Friday, December 22nd in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Berlin.
