Carol V.
Lindsay
October 21, 1944 – January 8, 2026
SHREWSBURY / NORTHBOROUGH
Carol V. Lindsay passed away peacefully at her home on January 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to her high school sweetheart, Norman D. Lindsay.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her two children, Scott Lindsay and his wife Jaime, and Christine Lindsay and her partner Chip; her two grandsons, Trever and Nic Lindsay, of whom she was immensely proud; her stepsisters, Patricia Flamino and Ann Caroll; her stepbrother, Peter Valeri; and her sister-in-law, Janice Lindsay. She was predeceased by her parents, Armando and Clementina (Colecchi) Giancola, as well as her brother, Robert Giancola, and her sister, Marie Creamer.
Carol was born and raised in Marlborough and was a graduate of Marlborough High School. After marrying in 1965, she and Norman made their home in Northborough, where they lived for many years before most recently moving to Shrewsbury.
Carol worked as a teacher's aide at Zeh Elementary School in Northborough for several years. She later served as payroll manager at Westridge Nursing Home and Marlborough Hills Skilled Nursing Center. Carol found her greatest joy in time spent with family. She cherished yearly vacations in Bar Harbor, Maine, hosting Christmas gatherings, and Father's Day cookouts.
Alongside Norman, Carol delighted in dancing the night away with friends, taking drives in Norman's Corvette, and enjoying their Saturday night date nights. Although she dabbled in hobbies such as ceramics, her favorite pastime was a good day of shopping at the mall.
Warm, outgoing, and always helpful, Carol's smile could put anyone at ease. Her family respectfully asks that those who wish to honor her memory do so by paying it forward — sharing a smile, lending a helping hand, and loving life to the fullest.
