Shrewsbury- Charlotte C. (Kinney) Libbey, 89, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Knollwood Nursing Home in West Boylston.

Her husband Byard E. Libbey Sr. died in 1982. She leaves her 2 sons, James H. Libbey and his wife Lucy of Auburn, Byard E. Libbey Jr. and his wife Jane of Shrewsbury; 3 daughters, Carol A. Dean and her husband Robert of FL, Barbara A. Ledoux and her husband Gerald of Shrewsbury, Charlene L. Dahlgren and her husband Steve of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; 2 nieces. Charlotte is predeceased by 3 brothers, Bob, Cliff and Ted Kinney.

Charlotte was born in Worcester and raised in Northborough. She is the daughter of the late Clifford B. and Evelyn (Pierce) Kinney. Charlotte enjoyed the Red Sox, country music, NASCAR racing, cooking for family functions, and Foxwoods Casinos. Charlotte loved her dog Becky and cat Spunky. The family would like to give special thanks to Summit Eldercare, Worcester and Knollwood Nursing Center for the great care she received in her final days of life.
