Obituary

Northborough – Daniel A. Trafecante, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2015 at Coleman House in Northborough. He leaves behind his wife M. Gloria (Piccinino) Trafecante; two sons, Daniel A. Trafecante Jr. and his wife Nadia of Worcester and Michael Trafecante and his wife Angela of Shrewsbury; five grandchildren, Rossella, Stefano, Marco, Dimitri and Julia; two sisters, Joan Gabriel of Worcester and Catherine Duquette of Shrewsbury; many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Worcester, he was the son of Anthony and Lena (Bronzo) Trafecante. Dan lived in Northborough since 1966. He owned and operated the former Bonfire Lounge in Westborough for 17 years. Mr. Trafecante also worked as bar manager at the Seminole Golf and Country Club in N. Palm Beach, Florida. He most recently worked at the Holiday Inn in Marlborough. Dan served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

A private graveside service with military honors was held in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough assisted the Trafecante family with arrangements.
