Boylston Denise M. (Bridgeford) Holyoak, 67, passed away at home on May 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her devoted husband of 43 years, Michael Holyoak; her son Paul Holyoak and wife Jeannie of Boylston, granddaughters, Isobel and Grace; her son Mark Holyoak and girlfriend Jessica Zorge of Berlin, granddaughter Harper; her daughter Stephanie Calocci and husband Daniel of Berlin, grandsons Shawn Citro II and Anthony Calocci; her son James Holyoak and his wife Laurence of Berlin, grandsons Andrew Holyoak and Harrison Holyoak; her brother Philip Bridgeford of Rushden, England. Born in Sheffield, England and raised in Rushden, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Muriel (Tyas) Bridgeford. Denise emigrated to the U.S. in 1973. She lived in Berlin for 40 years before moving to Boylston in 2013. Denise was a member of TBPA (Trans Atlantic Brides and Parents Association, First Parish Church of Berlin, the former Evening Guild and Day Guild. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, sewing, knitting and reading. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2016 at 11:30 am in First Parish Church, 24 Central St. Berlin. Burial in North Cemetery, Berlin is private. There are no calling hours.
