Douglas M. Humphrey passed away at the U-Mass-Memorial Medical Center on May 22, 2017, a day after his 61st birthday, from injuries suffered in a fall at home. Doug loved the outdoors and always wanted to be a farmer. He cherished the days of his youth, rising early to help with milking the cows, working in the fields and various other farm chores at Yellick Farms of Northborough.

Among his survivors he leaves two brothers, Wayne Humphrey of Shrewsbury and Kevin Humphrey of Auburn; four sisters, Sharon Mirick of Marlborough, Brenda Blake of Grafton, Patricia Humphrey of Marlborough, and Maureen Dion of Long Island, NY. He also leaves the many friends he has made through his association and time spent with Alternatives Unlimited.

Calling hours for Doug will be held in the Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough, from 4-6pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. A time to share Words of Remembrance will immediately follow at 6pm.
