Northborough – Eileen D. (Cook) Davis, 92, passed away on June 22, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center (Memorial campus) in Worcester, after a short illness. Her husband of 76 years, John R. Davis died in 2014. She leaves behind two sons, Richard Davis and his wife Kathryn of Northborough; Robert Davis and his wife Maryanne of West Yarmouth; her grandchildren, Brian, Michael, James and wife Nicole, William and his wife Sonja, Jeremy and Jeffrey; great-granddaughters, Micayla and Lauryn. Eileen is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Lempicki of Worcester; nieces and nephews. Her sons, John Davis died in 2001 and Roy Davis in 2013. Mrs. Davis is also preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Cook. Born and raised in Worcester, she was the daughter of Leroy and Doris (Berglund) Cook and lived in Northborough for over 60 years. Eileen graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School in Worcester. She enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod with her children and grandchildren, family gatherings, reading and cooking. The family would like to thank the staff of Shrewsbury Nursing Home for the excellent care that they gave her for the past several years.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Old Howard Cemetery, Armsby Rd. Sutton, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Mass. Audubon Society, 208 S. Great Rd.
