Berlin/Northborough – Elinor M. (Wilson) Potvin, 77, passed away on August 29, 2016 at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester, after a brief illness. Her husband Ronald Potvin died in 1993 and her son Wayne Potvin died in 1975. She leaves behind her two daughters, Linda Henry and husband Dan of Northborough; Jeanine Whittles and husband Keith of Littleton; three grandsons, Danny Henry Jr., Geoffrey Whittles and Tyler Henry; her siblings, Buddy Wilson of Framingham; Burt Wilson of Raymond, ME; Helen Piantadosi of Merrimack, NH; Glenda Jones of Marlborough and Irene Helenious of Maynard; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Pearl (Blenkhorn) Wilson. Elinor grew up in Berlin. She and Ronnie raised their family in Northborough and lived there from 1965-1996. Mrs. Potvin returned to her home town of Berlin in 1996 where she resided until her passing. Elinor enjoyed camping, playing the keyboard, gardening, dancing, kayaking, and trips to Cape Cod. She loved vacationing with family. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her grandchildren.

Elinor's funeral was held privately in Hays Funeral Home of Northborough, followed by interment in the family lot at Howard St. Cemetery, Northborough.
