Janine M. (Lavallee) Laferriere, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2022, with her family by her side; she was 57 years old. Janine leaves her husband, Stephen Laferriere and their two children, Joshua Laferriere of Uxbridge, MA and Kristyn (Laferriere) Christie and her husband Ryan of Mendon, MA. She also leaves her sister Cynthia (Lavallee) Lanctot and her four brothers, Timothy Lavallee, Peter Lavallee, Christopher Lavallee, Daniel Lavallee. A sister, Joanne (Prince) Lavallee preceded Janine in death. Janine is also survived by her loving canine companion Maggie.

Born in Whitinsville, Janine was the daughter to the late Francis and Jeanette (Therrien) Lavallee.

She worked for Evergreen Center as a teacher's aide and speech therapy assistant. Her most prestigious position was as a full-time mother caring for her family. Her true calling and passion was as a loving caregiver, aiding many families in raising their children. She dedicated 26 years to lovingly nurture all children as her own.

Janine enjoyed reading, devotional time, walking, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her family and friends, whom she cared for deeply. She loved to laugh and to love others.

Her celebration of life will be held on Good Friday, April 15, 2022, at Cornerstone Church, 5 Hartford Avenue E, North Uxbridge MA 01538. A time of fellowship and visitation with Janine's family will begin at 9 o'clock in the morning. Janine's service will begin at 10:00 o'clock.
