Obituary

Jean D. (Dolan) Pinero, 91, died peacefully Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Coleman House in Northborough, MA.

Jean was the daughter of George and Jean Dolan, originally from Paisley Scotland. Jean was raised in Lyndhurst, New Jersey and spent summers with her family at Highland Lakes, New Jersey where she enjoyed horseback riding and dances at the clubhouse. Jean loved music and in her later years was famous for breaking into song. She took great pleasure in spending time with her family, friends, and most of all her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sweet, gentle spirit, great sense of humor and love for children, animals, and life's simple pleasures.

Jean lived in Westfield, New Jersey for over 40 years before moving to Northborough. During her years in Westfield she enjoyed working at Westfield Pediatric group, her membership in the Westfield Women's Club and playing bridge with her friends.

Jean is predeceased by her husband Manuel Pinero and her brother George Dolan. She leaves her daughter, Linda DiMare and her husband Dario of Northborough; her son, Daniel Pinero and his wife Deborah of Sea Girt, NJ; 4 beloved grandchildren, Christina DiMare, Tracy, Drew and Nicole Pinero; her sister and brother-in-law Rae and Lou Sonta of Lavallete, NJ; her sister-in-law Edith Pinero Green of NY, NY; nephews Tim and David Sonta, Craig Dolan, Jason Green and dear friend Jean Enes.

Jean's family sends our most sincere thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at Coleman House who treated our mom with dignity and unending compassion.
