Marlborough/Northborough - Jean M. (Fiske) 75, of Marlborough, formerly of Northborough, died peacefully in her sleep at home on August 21, 2013. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Ralph J. D'Angelo Sr.; four children, Ralph J. D'Angelo Jr. and his wife Patty of W. Gardiner, ME, James D'Angelo and Julie D'Angelo both of Hudson and Anthony D'Angelo of Westborough; five grandchildren, Marc, Justin, Chelsea, Anthony "AJ" and Michael; two brothers, Robert and Cheryl Fiske of RI, Richard and Paula Fiske of Northborough; two sisters, Barbara Francis of Millbury, Helen and Daniel Griffin of Northborough; many nieces and nephews. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna (Subiloski) Fiske. Raised in Northborough, Jean graduated from Northborough High School, class of 1956. After devoting many years raising her children, Mrs. D'Angelo started a career in nursing as an LPN. Jean worked many years at Thornton and Sudbury Pines Nursing Homes as well as Marlborough Hospital. She enjoyed family camping trips, cooking, crocheting and Caribbean cruises with Ralph. Mrs. D'Angelo was active in the Marlborough Senior Center. She had a big heart and was known for her generosity. Family meant everything to Jean. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Jean's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St. Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard St. Cemetery.
