Jeanne Evelyn (Hart) Malecki, 78, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Mass General Hospital following a period of declining health. Jeanne was the beloved wife of 46 years to Lester M. Malecki. Jeanne was raised in Northborough, one of 11 children to Raymond W. and Evelyn L. (Blanchard) Hart. She was a 1964 graduate of Algonquin Regional High School. Jeanne worked as a manager of human resources for several local companies prior to retirement. She always considered the job of caring for her family as the most important, over any other. Jeanne looked forward to being with her family, most especially her grandchildren, who she loved more than they ever will know. She was the epitome of a matriarch; her family loved and respected her as she did them. Sharp as a tack and inquisitive, with an outgoing personality, she was never without the ability to strike up a conversation with someone. Jeanne and Les enjoyed taking cruises and travelling the roads of New England. Favorite destinations of Jeanne's were visiting shores of Ogunquit and Nubble Lighthouse where the couple would spend hours sitting and talking.

In addition to her husband Les, Jeanne is survived by her two children, Donald Crawford (Rachel Perrin) of Hudson, NH and Colleen Crawford (Michael Crane) of Northborough; her three grandchildren Kelsey Perrin, Emma Crawford, Gracelyn Krysa and two great-grandchildren Olivia and Logan Dion. Jeanne also leaves her seven siblings Raymond Hart, Jr. of Worcester, David Hart (Mary) of Rockland, ME, Dolores Sullivan (Joseph) of Northborough, Dennis Hart (Thom Smyth) of Upton, Donna Hart of Northborough, Dorothy Ahlman (Art) of Mashpee, Daniel Hart (Kim Foster) of Cushing, ME; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant sons Gardner and David Crawford and by three brothers Donald, Douglas and Jeffrey Hart.

Visiting hours will be held 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 23rd, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Jeanne's funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 24th, in Hays Funeral Home.
