John "Jack" Michael Murray, 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his Northborough home with his family by his side on March 5, 2016. Jack was born November 17, 1935 to Joseph and Elizabeth Cullen Murray in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's College in Philadelphia.

Jack met his beautiful bride Joan Susan Walsh while working at the Insurance Company of North America. They married in 1958 in Philadelphia, PA. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked for RCA and Raytheon in Northborough. Jack loved spending time with his family. He loved talking about history and politics. His favorite pastime was watching John Wayne movies.

Jack is survived by his children, Karen, John, Dorothy, Mary Beth (Paul) Nevins, and Michael (Jenn); grandchildren, Jack, Michael and Luke Nevins, Sam, Grace and Ryan Murray; brothers, Joe and Ed.

A funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Saint Bernadette Parish, 266 Main St. at 10 AM with the; Reverend Ronald Falco officiating. Burial will follow at the Howard St. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. is directing arrangements.
