Dennisport, MA- Joseph F. Longone Sr., 77, died at home on Saturday, March 23, 2013. He was the son of Daniel E. and Anna (Nowicki) Longone of Worcester. After spending three years as a PFC in the U.S. Marine Corps, he lived most of his life in the Worcester area and was employed as a salesman at Atlas Distributors in Auburn for thirty-two years. He retired and moved to Cape Cod. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge in South Yarmouth. He enjoyed traveling to Europe, gardening, playing cards and visiting with his children. He is survived by his loving wife Valerie C. Risi-Longone of Dennisport. He also leaves his brother Daniel E. Longone and wife Janice of Ann Arbor MI and an Aunt Clara Longone of Worcester. He leaves his five children, Joseph Longone Jr. and wife Sue of Worcester, Daniel Longone of NH, Michael Longone and wife Annette of AZ, Lisa Tibaud and husband Michael of Worcester, and Gina Foster and Husband Robert of IN. He also leaves two stepchildren, Eric Risi of AZ, Jennifer Reil and husband James of Spencer MA. Joseph was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Calling Hours will be Monday, April 1st from 4-8p.m. at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. in Northborough. The Funeral will be on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10 a.m. at Hays Funeral Home.
