Obituary

Joyce Trimble, 77, of Sagamore Beach, MA, passed away on November 12, 2012. She was surrounded by her adoring family and her devoted husband, Robert C. Trimble, Sr., who never left her side during their 57 happy years of marriage and her long illness of 3 years.

She was born Joyce Beverly Flynn on July 22, 1935 in Marlborough, MA and is the daughter of Edward J. and Helen M. (MacKenzie) Flynn.

Joyce married her lifelong love and partner, Bob on December 17, 1955. The young couple started their life of adventure on a bus across country to the state of Washington where Bob was stationed in the Army. At that time, having only 35 cents until the next paycheck did not discourage them from their plans for success. They later established their residence in Northborough, MA, had three children, and founded a thriving business, Everybody's Bicycle and Hobby Shop.

Though Joyce had many accomplishments in her life, those touched by her signature style of generosity and acceptance consider this her highest achievement. She had the ability to make all who entered her home feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated as a member of her family.

At the age of 50, she achieved her dream of graduating from cosmetology school and opening a salon. Tip 'n Dip Nail Salon opened in 1984. Her clients were treated like friends and she created close personal connections with them. She also answered the call to become Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethany Chapter, Westborough, MA, in the year of the Order's 100th Anniversary. After retirement, Joyce became an active member of Swift Memorial Methodist Church in Sagamore Beach, MA where she served on the Finance Committee.

Joyce leaves behind her treasured family; husband, Robert, her son Bobb Trimble and her daughter Jennifer Trimble, both of Boston, MA, her daughter Brenda LaJeunesse, son-in-law Stephen LaJeunesse, and grandson Jacob, all of Indialantic, FL, her brother The Reverand William E. Flynn and his wife, Elaine, both of Viera, FL, nieces, nephews and their families.

Joyce's committal service will be held on Friday, April 26th at 11:00 AM at the Howard Street Cemetery, Northboro, MA. Please go directly to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joyce's memory to Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, ECH Playground Fund, 50 West Strawbridge Avenue , Melbourne, FL, 32901.
