Leonard W. Warren passed away peacefully after a period of declining health. He was 88. He leaves his devoted wife of 67 years, Annette (Eldredge) Warren; his loving children, Philip Warren and his wife Tammy of KY; Bruce Warren and his wife Barbara of Northborough; Kent Warren and his wife Karen of Franklin; his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth "Beth" Warren-Roy and her husband Corey of Northborough; Lori Zacharias her husband Jack of VA; Amy McKeown and her husband Keith of Holliston; Adam Warren and his wife Patricia of Grafton; Krista Nelson of Worcester; Alex Jones of IN; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Corey, Brooke, Aubrey; several nephews. Born in Marlborough, son of the late William and Erma (Hill) Warren, he was a lifelong resident of Northborough. Mr. Warren was employed as a maintenance supervisor for Northborough Public Schools for 30 years until his retirement in 1991. Len enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, gardening and photography. He proudly served his country in the navy during WW II in the South Pacific Theater. For more than 10 years, Len served as an adult leader in Northborough's scouting program with Troop 1.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. The funeral will be held on Monday December 29th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with Deacon Richard Martino officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Howard St. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd. Worcester, MA 01602-3213, or to the charity of one's choice.
