Lorraine (Trudy) M. Gauvin, 89, of Northborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center with her loving family by her side. Lorraine was born on September 2nd, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie Trudeau of Marlborough, MA. Lorraine leaves her son, Rick and his wife Karen. She also leaves five grandchildren: Michael and his wife Rebecca, Sean and his wife Alicia, John, Jennifer, Amanda and four great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter and sons, James and William. Lorraine attended St. Ann's Academy and was later employed by First National Bank in Marlborough for many years. Trudy loved playing poker and enjoyed sharing late afternoon visits with Beaumont staff member, Cheryl. The family would like to thank all members of the Beaumont Staff for their kindness and compassionate care for Trudy. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. The funeral Mass of Resurrection will be held Wednesday, October 8th at 10 a.m. in St. Bernadette Church, 266 Main St. Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard St. Cemetery.
