Orleans, MA Michael J. Farricy, 68, a longtime resident of Orleans and formally of Boston, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 after a period of declining health. Michael was born and raised in Boston, a son to the late John P. and Mary (Walsh) Farricy, Jr. After graduating from Boston High School, Class of 1967 Michael completed his bachelor degree at Stonehill College, Class of 1971. For over 40 years Michael served as a caretaker at Nickerson State Park in Brewster. When not enthusiastically following the Celtics, Bruins, Sox and Pats Michael could be found enjoying a few hands of cribbage. Michael leaves behind his brother, Dr. John P. Farricy, III and his wife Jean of Northborough, two nieces, Jill Coran of Shrewsbury and Julie King of Sturbridge, one nephew, John Farricy, IV of Westborough, 7 grandnieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
