Northborough

Nancy Ann Wheeler passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2023. Nancy was 83 years old and the beloved mother to Mathew T. Wheeler of Northborough. She was preceded in death by a son, Warren W. Wheeler in 1990 and her brother, David H. Hollis in 2022.

Nancy was born in Marlborough and raised in the Marlborough and Northborough areas, one of two children to the late Ralph and Zilpha (Daughty) Hollis. She was a 1957 graduate of Northborough High School and was employed as an accounting clerk at the former Van Brode Co. / Weetabix of Clinton for numerous years. Nancy dedicated her life to the care of her family. She lovingly cared for her son Warren, mother Zilpha and brother David over the years as they battled illness. She proudly resided in her Northborough home for 58 years and enjoyed creating and caring for the flower gardens around her property. She and Matthew enjoyed traveling to southern Maine to attend David's piano performances and was known for her quick witted one-liners. In addition, Nancy leaves her three beloved cats, Tabitha, Samantha and Henrietta.

A calling hour will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. on Wednesday, February 22 at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough, MA. Nancy's funeral will immediately follow at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough, MA.
