Obituary

Netta Adolfovna Surinova was born on 11/5/1925, to Adolf Petrovich Oliver and Anna Samuilovna Oliver in Omsk, Russia. Netta had an older brother, Alex, and grew up going to school with her close friends and living a modest life. When Netta became a little older, she began working after school in factories to help provide equipment, tools, and clothing for World War II soldiers. She continued to work after school in these factories with her brother until the war was over. When the war ended, Netta attended university in Russia and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. She then pursued a career in mechanical engineering, working at various automobile factories. Netta then moved to Kavalerovo Russia, where she met Gavriil Surinov, whom she married in Omsk in 1953. In 1955, Netta gave birth to her daughter Anna. In 1962, Netta and Gavriil divorced, and Netta continued to live in Omsk with her daughter Anna. Netta retired from her engineering job in 1982. When Anna married Igor Mereminskiy in 1979, Netta was overjoyed. In 1 year, Netta had her first grandson, Anatoliy, and moved in with her daughter and family. She had pure joy raising Anatoliy. In March of 1994, Netta, along with her family, immigrated to the United States. Within one year, Netta had a granddaughter - Anna Maria. Netta initially resided in Virginia, followed by New Jersey, and finally, in 1999, Netta and her family settled down in Northborough, Massachusetts, where Netta lived until she passed away. Netta dedicated her life after retirement to raising her grandchildren, while her daughter and son-in-law worked countless hours to provide for their family. Netta taught her grandchildren how to read, write, count, and speak fluent Russian, despite living in America. Netta poured every ounce of energy she had into caring for her family, and loved them as much as physically possible. Although Netta faced many health challenges in her later years, she fought through every single one, showing how much of a fighter and strong person she truly was. Netta touched everyone's heart in a way that cannot be put into words, and she will forever be missed, always in our hearts. Нетта Адольфов
