SHREWSBURY — Patricia M. Amatucci, 82

Patricia M. Amatucci, age 82, of Shrewsbury, passed away on April 13, 2026. Patty, as she was known by all, is survived by her daughter, Cynthia M. Luke and husband David; by her son Vincent J. Amatucci, III and wife Linda; by four grandchildren Érin C. Blette and husband Joseph, Shawna L. Amatucci, Anthony V. Amatucci – Lopez and husband Sebas Amatucci – Lopez and Adam T. Amatucci and by two great-grandchildren Joey and Emily Blette – all whom she loved dearly.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Clarice (Blanchette)  Farr; by her husband of 42 years, Vincent J. Amatucci, Jr. (Jim) and by her only sister, Michele A. Herrick.

Born and raised in Marlborough, Massachusetts, she lived there for most of her life before moving to Shrewsbury in 2010. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School and attended Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. In her early years, she focused on raising her family. She later worked for more than 25 years at Natick Laboratories in Natick as a secretary in the Resource Management Department.

Patty volunteered for many years as an Assistant Leader with Marlborough's Boy Scout Troop 41 and also served as a camp counselor at Resolute Boy Scout Camp. Her interests included arts and crafts, particularly painting, as well as playing Mahjong with her neighborhood friends. She was also active in candlepin and ten-pin bowling leagues in Shrewsbury. Along with her husband, Jim, she attended activities at the Marlborough Fish & Game Club and enjoyed traveling, including trips to the Turks and Caicos Islands and Hawaii.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
