NORTHBOROUGH

Patricia Ann LeSage passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 21, 2026, while in the supportive presence of her family. Patricia was 78 years old and the beloved wife of 53 years to Roy P. LeSage. She was the daughter of the late Ernest R. Drew and Marguerite (McMahon) Drew Stirk.

In addition to her husband Roy, Pat is survived by their two children, Melissa LeSage and her husband Greg Spanier and Marc LeSage. She also leaves her sisters Kathleen (Drew) Fletcher, Gayle (Drew) Shivick, Barbara Stirk and Margaret (Stirk) Cusella and her husband Joseph and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Raymond Stirk and by her two sisters, Sheila R. (Drew) Ellsworth and Dorothy (Grinley) Calabro.

Pat was born in Marlborough, Mass. and was a lifelong resident of Northborough. She graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1966 and from the Worcester City Hospital’s School of Nursing in 1969 where she earned her title of Registered Nurse. She was a longtime employee of Marlborough Hospital where she faithfully served in many areas- the most meaningful being the pediatric department. Later in life, Pat devoted her skills to caring for the residents of numerous surrounding skilled long-term care facilities and nursing homes.

Always looking out for others, Pat was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Although Christmas was her favorite holiday, she never waited until December to surprise loved ones with thoughtful and meaningful gifts. Pat found great joy in bringing happiness to others, often through quiet acts of kindness without fanfare or expectation of recognition. Her thoughtful gestures were genuine expressions of love, given straight from the heart.

Pat devoted countless hours to the Northborough Junior Woman’s Club, where she was an active member and role model. She also cherished the friendships and festive gatherings she enjoyed as a member of the Christmas in July Club. Above all, Pat treasured time spent with her beloved family. She and her husband, Roy, especially enjoyed their Saturday morning “yard-sailing” adventures, always on the lookout for the next hidden treasure. A devout Catholic, Pat faithfully attended Mass at Saint Bernadette Parish and, more recently, at Saint Rose of Lima Parish.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, October 26, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Patricia's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 244 W. Main St, Northborough. Interment in Howard Street Cemetery will be private and at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation in Pat’s name to either the Northborough Junior Woman’s Club, P.O.
