Patricia L. (Ouellette) Michaud passed away early Friday, September 11, 2026, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of Guy R. Michaud for 60 years, until his passing in 2021.

Patricia is survived by her son, Jonathan G. Michaud, and his wife, Jacqueline Hills-Michaud, of Northborough; her three beloved grandchildren, Kristen, Max, and Paige Michaud; and her brother, Gregory Ouellette. She was predeceased by her parents, Raoul and Estelle (Michaud) Ouellette, and by her siblings, John Ouellette and Alice-Anne Estes.

Born and raised in Frenchville, Maine, Patricia attended St. Joseph’s Academy in Biddeford before earning a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. She spent much of her life in Aroostook County, where she devoted more than 30 years to teaching at Van Buren Elementary School, primarily in the third grade.

Patricia was a true teacher at heart whose kindness, knowledge, and dedication made a lasting difference in the lives of the many children fortunate enough to be in her classroom. Throughout her life, she generously shared her knowledge, personality, and life experiences with those around her. She especially cherished being involved in her son’s family life and felt blessed by the time she shared with them. In turn, her family was grateful for all she taught them about culture, learning, and life.

Patricia was deeply loved and respected by her family and their circle of friends and was affectionately known as everyone’s Mémère.

Patricia and Guy also treasured their summers in Maine, at their beloved camp on Long Lake, where they welcomed family and friends and created many cherished memories together.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough, Massachusetts.
