NORTHBOROUGH Paul W. Richard, a longtime resident of Northborough, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 26, 2021; he was 88 years old. Born and raised in Worcester, Paul was a son to the late Alphonse and Alice (Messier) Richard. For over 40 years Paul drove taxi in the Worcester area; 20 of which were for Yellow Cab Company. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and the Northborough Senior Center. Paul enjoyed playing Cribbage, shooting pool and listening to music. Paul is survived by his four children, Ronald St. Martin and his wife Darcy, Deborah Moreau and her husband Ralph White, Colette Bishop and her husband Bruce, and Paula Dryden. He also leaves five grandchildren, Jarrod, Jill, Michael, Bobby and Gaby; eight great-grandchildren, Miley, Spencer, Gianna, Alexandra, Scarlett, Trinity, Ivy and Oakley as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Alyce E. (Galligan) Richard, his step- daughter, Yvette Gilbert and his two grandsons, Joshua Dryden and Kyle St. Martin. After a private funeral home service Paul was laid to rest in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough. Arrangements were under the care of Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough.
