Randy M. Drapeau, age 63, of West Boylston, formerly of Clinton, passed away at the UMASS- Memorial Medical Center's University Campus on June 25, 2021, after a recent downturn in health; he was 63 years old. Randy was raised and educated in Clinton, the son of the late Richard E. and Barbara I. (Magyar) Drapeau.
After 30 years on the road as a truck driver Randy changed careers into the world of Real Estate where he also met the love of his life, Linda (Mesolella), whom he spent the rest of his life with.Randy was a lover of life and never missed an opportunity to spend time with family and friends, we all knew when Randy was around something funny would happen and there would be a lot of laughing! He always greeted everyone with a big hug and his warm smile.He was the most amazing husband, father and brother anyone could ask for! He loved to share his love of old cars and classic rock music with anyone who would listen! Randy was a member of Wachusett Country Club where you spent many days playing golf, if you didn't find Randy on the golf course he was at home watching his 3 o'clock golf channel with his beloved wife.
In addition to his wife Linda, Randy is survived by four children, Nicole Drapeau of W. Bountiful, Utah, Brenda Drapeau of Sterling, David Drapeau and his wife Shauna of Holden, and Jared Edson and his wife Amy of Ashburnham; four grandchildren, Teagan, Alayn, Paisley and Harlow; a brother, Stephen Drapeau and his wife Donna of Webster; a sister, Christine Rybacki and her husband Larry of Shrewsbury; nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, July 7, at Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. There are no public calling hours planned. The family respectfully request that memorial contributions be directed to the Jimmy Fund, c/o Rybacki Memorial, 386 N. Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532.
