Rex Alan Buckert, of Juliaetta, ID, most recently of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, passed away on the evening of August 6, 2025, after a period of declining health. Rex was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, the son to the late Edgar "Duane" and Wanda (Fox) Buckert. He spent most of his life employed as a construction project manager. Earlier this year, Rex moved to Hopkinton, MA to be closer to family.

Surviving Rex are his three children, Ryan Buckert, Gayl Weinmann and Lexi Land and his nine grandchildren.

Following Rex's wishes, he will be privately interred in the G.A.R. Cemetery which is located in Miami, Oklahoma.
