Worcester - Northborough

 April 8, 2026, Richard R. O’Brien passed away without warning, the result of an acute medical incident. He was 62 years old. Richard was raised in Northborough, attended Northborough public schools and was a graduate of Algonquin High School. For numerous years he worked as an automotive mechanic until his health prevented continued employment.

Among those surviving Richard are his two sisters, Ingrid Bogel and Petra Trunkes; nephews and nieces; and a brother-in-law Michael Trunkes. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Richard V. O’Brien and Berta E. (Jackl) O’Brien and by his brother-in-law Steven Bogel.
