Ruth T. (Latham) Dumas, 91, died June 16, 2014 at Beaumont of Northborough after a short illness. She leaves her devoted husband of 68 years, Raymond F. Dumas; her loving children, Darlene Santora and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury; Raymond Dumas of Sterling; Kevin Dumas and his wife Diana of Roxbury, CT; grandchildren, Pamela Jordan and Michelle Zuno both of Shrewsbury; Christina Dumas and Jessica Dumas both of Roxbury, CT; great-grandchildren, Derek, Karli, and Gabriella DeSouza and Justyn and Vanessa Zuno; her sister, June Stephens of Leicester; she is predeceased by a brother, Robert Latham. Born and raised in Worcester, she was the daughter of William and Lillian (Valley) Latham. Mrs. Dumas graduated from St. Stephen's High School in Worcester. Ruth was previously employed at the Norton Company and New England Telephone during her early years. She lived in Northborough for the past 58 years. Mrs. Dumas was a longtime member of St. Rose of Lima Parish.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Her funeral Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St. Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard St. Cemetery.
