Bolyston- Stanley D. Askalis, 91, died peacefully Monday, December 24, 2012 at Autumn Village in Worcester. He was a lifelong resident of Boylston. Mr. Askalis is survived by his 3 sons, Brian Foster of Murphy, NC, Peter Askalis, Steven Askalis of Boylston; 1 daughter, Jayne Partidge of Spencer. Stanley was a Union pipefitter and worked throughout Worcester County, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Worcester Plumbers & Piperfitters Local #4. Stanley was an avid wood worker and gardener. Mr. Askalis served over seas in the Army during WWII. Services and burial are private.
