Northborough – Warren S. Oberg, son of Swedish immigrants, 91, died October 3, 2013 at home peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his children, Bruce Oberg and his wife Sarah of Northborough, June Roman and her husband Michael Roman of Northborough; his former wife, Ellen (Larson) Oberg; six grandchildren, Isak Oberg, Holly Alessi, Amber Oberg, Nea Oberg, Erik Roman and John Roman; nieces and nephews, Karen Casey, Allan Johnson and Margaret "Toby" Belle. Warren also leaves a large extended family. Born and raised in Worcester, he was the son of Werner and A. Elisabeth (Erickson) Oberg. Years ago, Mr. Oberg owned and operated Oberg Dairy Farm in Northborough. He later became a real estate developer and managed numerous properties. Warren was known for his hard work and generosity to others. Mr. Oberg was a true gentleman. He had a good sense of humor and loved sharing jokes.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Warren's funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
